Come out for a performance of short plays written, directed, acted, and designed by our talented students.

November 16-18 at 7:30 PM & November 19 at 2:00 PM

Based on the book by Cheryl Strayed; Adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos. Directed by Mary Fran Crook.

Based on the bestselling book by Cheryl Strayed and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, Tiny Beautiful Things personifies the questions and answers that “Sugar” was publishing online from 2010-2012. When the struggling writer was asked to take over the unpaid, anonymous position of advice columnist, Strayed used empathy and her personal experiences to help those seeking guidance for obstacles both large and small.

Tiny Beautiful Things is a play about reaching when you’re stuck, healing when you’re broken, and finding the courage to take on the questions that have no answers.

*Please be aware that this show deals with mature subject matter, including abuse, sexual harassment, and other trauma.

Plaza suite Graphic

PLAZA SUITE, by Neil Simon
February 14-17 at 7:30 PM

Plaza Suite, the classic comedy by Neil Simon, is a play in three acts, with each act focusing on different characters—all of whom are dealing with wild (and hilarious) romance issues. What ties the three acts together is that each set of characters is staying in Suite 719 of the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Join us for this romp of a show, with each of the three acts directed by one of our talented students! Act One, directed by Junior Jaden Napier, follows a long-married couple falling out of love. The second act, directed by Senior Summer Burch, features a Hollywood producer trying to seduce an old friend. The final act, directed by Sophomore Cade Melnyk, centers on the parents of a bride who has locked herself in the bathroom and refuses to come out for the wedding!

Bring your Valentine and have a laugh at love!

So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.
