Online career training courses will prepare you for a new career or give you the skills necessary to advance in your current career. We offer programs designed to prepare you for the workforce or enhance your skills in your current career. With 13 areas of study and over 300 non-credit courses available, you will find the program you need to be successful. Select courses have exam vouchers included in the registration price to complete a certification.
Professional Career Online Programs
Getting started is easy! All of our programs have opportunities for national certification, externship placement and/or career support. For some programs, the content is facilitated by live instructors with scheduled webinars and interactive activities. You'll even have the opportunity to do in-class labs and hands-on activities as required by your program.
This nationally acclaimed program is designed for beginning as well as advanced legal workers. Students will be trained to investigate complex fact patterns, research the law, interview witnesses and assist in preparing cases for courtroom litigation. There are no prerequisites. Successful graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion from UofSC Aiken.
Safety Management Certificate Program
All ASSP certificate programs are designed so professionals can take a series of courses related to certain occupational safety and health (OSH) topics or concepts, then master those areas and gain expertise. This certification program provides you the continuing education units (CEUs) and training required to become a safety professional.

The Center for Lifelong Learning
The Center for Lifelong Learning is a volunteer-run organization that provides local seniors with a wide range of learning opportunities, tailored to their needs and interests.
In this course, attendees will study the writing of prose fiction. Students will learn techniques, styles, and forms for imaginative writing. Students will also have the opportunity to create original stories and have their work critiqued by other students. During this course, students will develop critical vocabulary and reading skills necessary to the craft of prose fiction writing. Students will also explore structures and techniques used in published works.
We offer a variety of different non-credit horse-related classes. You may begin your online course(s) at any point in the month; take one course or several at a time. You have up to a year from your registration date to complete your course(s).
We offer a wide variety of classes for those interested in exploring their artistic abilities. Develop your skills in various mediums, learn to work with a live model, and receive feedback from a highly qualified art instructor. In addition, you can learn the various aspects of photography from choosing the right camera to perfecting your technique.
We offer a course in conversational Spanish.
Learn the fundamentals of almost any topic. We offer the choice between self-paced tutorials where you quickly learn the basics of a topic while building your skills or instructor-led courses for professional development.
The Wellness Center offers several class opportunites to help you remain active including Zumba, synchronized swimming, and yoga.
