How much notice does USC Aiken and Aramark Catering Services require for a catered event?
20 business days - Notification must be provided that catering will be required for your event with menu selections submitted.
14 business days - Notification with final guest count for catering must be provided.
Note : Cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to event start time will result in full catering invoice.
Can I see a list of menu options?
Yes, our website is usca.catertrax.com. However, clients may not order catering directly from this website as all catering orders must go through the USC Aiken Conference Center.
Are disposables included?
Catering costs include disposable plates, bowls, cups, napkins and cutlery as required.
Do you provide plates, silverware, glasses, etc.?
Aramark can provide these items for an additional cost. Clients must make requests for these additional items 14 business days in advance of event start date.
Do you provide linens?
Linens can be provided for your event for an additional cost. Please provide notification if these are needed for your event.
Can I choose which meal format that we prefer?
Aramark provides various meal formats, including buffet, plated and boxed lunches. However, events that are hosted in the B&E Gym may only be served in buffet or boxed lunch formats.
If I want a special cake for my event (i.e. birthday party, graduation celebration) can this be provided through Aramark?
Yes, Aramark can provide a cake for your event if this is specifically on your catering order within the appropriate notification time frame. You may also receive authorization to order your own cake only if this it is provided from a professional bakery. Cakes and other food may not be brought in from any non-professional sources.
Please be mindful that catering orders must be submitted to the Conference Center 10 business days prior to event start date to ensure that your requests are approved with only minor changes up to five (5) business days prior to event start date.
