Counseling Center

Providing students with the mental health resources they need

The Counseling Center offers in-person services. Please feel free to call the Counseling Center Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm at 803-641-3609 to schedule an appointment.

If you are having an emergency, please call 9-1-1. 

If you want to speak to someone after hours, you can call the Aiken Helpline at 2-1-1 or 1-877-648-9900.

The National Disaster Distress Hotline 24/7/365 is operating and providing crisis counseling and emotional support. Calls (1-800-985-5990; press "2" for Spanish) and texts (text TalkWithUs to 66746) are answered by trained counselors from a network of independently-operated crisis centers located across the U.S.

Emergency services can be obtained after hours and on weekends by calling University Police. Dial 6111 from on-campus telephones or 803-648-4011 from any telephone to reach University Police.
