Chancellor's/SGA Town Hall

During each semester, the Chancellor and the Student Government Association invite student leaders on campus to a town hall-styled meeting focused on issues and topics of interest to the student body. Students are invited to bring questions and topics forward to be addressed by the Chancellor and members of the Administrative Cabinet. Additionally, the town hall meetings also are used to inform the student leadership about significant campus initiatives.

Chancellor's Student Leader Dinners

At selected times during the semester, the Chancellor invites small groups of student leaders to join her for dinner hosted in the beautiful historic Alumni House. The dinners provide opportunities for the Chancellor to get to know student leaders in a casual setting while exchanging ideas and discussing university and leadership topics.

Chancellor's Cultural Events

Each semester the Chancellor invites groups of students to special events on and off campus such as University Theater Player events, Ruth Patrick planetarium shows, athletic events, lecture series, or other unique USCA events. These events enable the Chancellor to interact with members of the student body in a smaller group setting.

The Chancellor's Ambassadors

Annually, through a highly competitive application process, ten students are chosen to represent the Chancellor and university at key events on and off campus. The Ambassadors are easily identified at events by their Pacer Red blazers. These students serve as exemplars of the University and assist with building positive connections with visiting VIPs, alumni and donors.

Honors Student Reception and Dinner

Each year the Chancellor hosts a reception and a dinner in honor of students in USCA's Honors Program. This event enables the Chancellor and the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs to get to know the incoming Honors students and to learn more about the returning students. It also affords Honors students an opportunity to discuss their program of study, research projects, and other university activities with the Chancellor.
