The Center for Student Achievement has developed a new summer program to enhance the academic skills of all incoming students.
Summer PACE (Positive Academic College Experience) is a two-day academic learning experience designed to help incoming students not only get a head-start on their first semester, but also to form relationships with current USC Aiken students and USC Aiken faculty and staff.
This year’s Summer PACE program will focus specifically on Math and English. The Center for Student Achievement and USC Aiken faculty and staff have created workshops geared toward providing additional academic support in subject areas that all students must complete satisfactorily for scholastic progression. Each workshop was crafted to address the common challenges faced by many students in both Math and English.
Additionally, the Center for Student Achievement will offer instructional sessions on navigating the student record portals and learning management systems.
Sessions will be led by the USC Aiken faculty and staff with additional support from current USC Aiken students.
