Providing students with resources for their future

Career development is an integral part of university life and provide students and alumni with the guidance, knowledge, experiences, skills, and connections that will lead to successful, lifelong career management.

To take full advantage of the many resources and services available requires some initiatives on the part of the student. In this rapidly changing, competitive global market, the Career Services staff invites students to empower themselves by taking charge of their career futures. The staff is available to assist students through this process.

Students can begin taking charge of their futures by applying for job positions and internships in the community. Many job openings are posted on Handshake, USC Aiken's online job board. Career Services can also assist alumni in their search for full-time employment. Individual career counseling appointments are available upon request.

Career Services also assists with career preparation through initiatives such as career panels, the Leadership UofSC Aiken program, and the College To Career Readiness (C2CR) program.
